5 Questions with Halo & Co

Tell us about Halo & Co and its ethos. Where is your design studio located?

Halo & Co is located in the picturesque region of Snowdonia North Wales, UK. Not many designers can say they pass two castles and a waterfall on the way into their studio, but we can! The Halo & Co team consists of 10 highly trained, skilled artists, with every team member specializing in one technique. Together, using traditional and modern methods, we hand-produce some of the finest headwear and costume jewelry available. We are celebrating 30 years this October with Union Square and will be showcasing styles from each decade, our timeless classics.

Describe your ideal bride – what is her personality and style?

A Halo & Co bride has the same spontaneous spirit that carries the brand forward today. Individuality, personality with a little bit of edge. As with our fashion line, we create with all ages, genders, and cultures in mind. Accessories are about reflecting the soul, being free to express yourself, and being who you want to be. We love delivering something new and exciting each season, we like to surprise and inspire. Having worked with many of our customers for decades they know they can trust us to bring fresh looks, the unexpected, and our signature style to each collection, pieces that they can't wait to arrive in store. That's why they come back to us again and again.

Where is your collection made? What is your price range?

It's what goes into a Halo & Co piece that makes it exceptional. Our retail price points start at $200 to $3000 and beyond. It can take weeks from start to finish to make some of our pieces which can involve hand-setting well over 1000 crystals. The meticulous attention to detail and the fact that our small team touches every bead, pearl, sequin, and filigree that is used. is what makes our work stand out. Every process takes place in-house at our North Wales Studio: from metalwork, polishing, gem, and hand-setting of each stone before each item is carefully inspected before it leaves us so our quality is guaranteed. Halo & Co isn't about fast fashion it's about creating styles that can be loved and worn from generation to generation.

Can you share some of your favorites and best sellers from the past season?

Bestsellers that have stood the test of time like "Arabesque" and "English Violet" were created over 10 years ago but remain current. New styles that are leading the way are "Cezanne" and "Beguile", these looks are modern with clean aesthetics. The "Josephine" crown is a firm favorite of the Halo & Co team. We are maximalists, not minimalists. We just love the eras of dressing up and occasions. Making the ordinary extraordinary is what counts. That's the HALO & CO vibe!

What do you want buyers to know about your brand/collection?

The Halo & Co brand has stood the test of time, offering unrivaled design, quality, and customer service. Our wholesale products are not sold directly from us and we offer support and tools to retailers to ensure that buying from us is profitable, successful, and easy. To top it all off we have worked alongside our USA sales team to ensure a seamless service from shipping/import/taxes to payment in USD.
