Our brand began in the 1980s when our founder, Jane Hill, took a leap of faith and moved interstate with her infant daughter to pursue her dream of working in fashion. Jane began designing wedding gowns, ensuring the highest quality and craftsmanship for her clients and focussing on creating an intimate and personable experience with her brides.
From this, the first Jane Hill studio was born in Melbourne in 1990. In 2013, Jane sadly passed away, and the business was passed down to her two daughters, Jasmine and Bella, alongside Jane’s father, John.
Ten years on, Jane Hill Bridal continues to represent the importance of working closely with brides and producing designs made by women, for women that stand the test of time. Jane Hill Designs are for the modern bride who values quality, heritage, craftsmanship, and timeless design.

Creative Director and Designer
Building on the foundation laid by her mother, Jasmine has stepped into the role of Creative Director and Designer at Jane Hill. With a wealth of knowledge and experience in bridal and fashion, she has grown up surrounded by the industry, and now brings her expertise to lead the brand with a fresh vision.
After studying her Bachelor of Fashion after high school, Jaz has helped the business to build a reputation for luxurious made-to-order and couture pieces that celebrate the modern bride, through continuing Jane’s legacy with innovative style and vision.
In 2017, Jaz made the decision to begin wholesaling the product to reach a new audience and demographic. Since then, the brand has exponentially grown and Jane Hill gowns are now stocked internationally in over 90 locations worldwide.
