Helen Guo
Designer Helen Guo has always been deeply passionate about designing wedding dresses. Helen has worked in the London fashion scene for many years and was involved in organizing London Fashion Week for several years. It was there in London that Helen developed a unique sense of fashion design, combining classical and contemporary styles with unique fabrics to create new designs. Having worked in the fashion industry for more than a decade, Helen first ventured into the wedding industry in 2010.
To further pursue her passion for designing wedding dresses, she established her own bridal shop in the heart of Sydney’s bridal hub, Leichhardt in 2015. She decided to name her Sydney bridal showroom ‘Blanche Bridal’ to represent her love for the fashion capital of the world, Paris. The name ‘Blanche’ means 'white' in French. This has stuck with her while she was exploring the romantic streets of Paris, and Helen thought about using the name to represent the femininity and chic style of her designs ever since, and that dream came true in 2015.
